Teen-to-Teen Film Reviews

This year, we made a concerted effort to include teen and youth programs in this year’s Festival as a method to reach out to an emerging generation. Through our local community groups, we offered the ability to screen films in advance and review them for us. These selections are their thoughts, feelings, and reactions to those films in their words. Heart to heart, teen to teen.

  • The City Library’s Alphabet Soup Teen Program created this zine. Alphabet Soup is an inclusive, safe, weekly hangout for LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies.
  • Utah Pride Center’s Youth & Family Program submitted a review for We’re All Going to the World’s Fair:

“The film was very good I love movies like that. My favorite part was the fair view. One of the best movies I have seen.”

Whether you love to watch films, want to explore the hands on activities at the Clubhouse, or do both, a day pass is your access to the Festival!

Each day pass includes the following perks: In-person films on a first come, first served basis

  • Clubhouse activities.
  • Free UTA transit to the Festival at Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville

Each member of your group needs a pass to access Tumbleweeds. Workshops require additional registration and fee.

Choose a Saturday day pass, a Sunday day pass, or both!
