2025 Festival Clubhouse

Come play, have fun, and get a little silly! The Tumbleweeds Film Festival Clubhouse is FREE to the public and features hands-on activities, crafts, and experiences for the whole family! Local organizations and artists provide memorable experiences for the young and young at heart.

2025 CLUBHOUSE ACTIVITIES

CLUBHOUSE HOURS: 10 AM - 5:30 PM

Activities are available for all ages.

Kids can design and make a button and enter your design in our contest to be the 2026 Tumbleweeds Film Festival official button image! Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete our festival survey while kids create their buttons.

SLCo Library Create Spaces can be used to build, design, and print many types of creative projects. Stop by our table to make your own pair of 3D glasses and find out what else you can make in one of the Library’s Create Spaces.

Make a mini film projector with Utah Education Network! Kids and families won’t believe how easy it is to create a mini projector using everyday items.

Help create Tumble Town, where everyone is a friend and everyone has a great story to tell. You can decorate, design, and arrange the buildings to make Tumble Town the town of our dreams!

Watch a makeup artist apply special effects makeup live just like makeup artists in the movies! Ask questions and learn how a makeup artist creates their designs.

Come get your face painted with an animal, character, or film-themed design!

Come to our video booth and share your reviews of our Tumbleweeds movies, events, and activities! All participants who record a short video get a prize!

One Kind Act a Day encourages participants to go and do a kind act while at the festival. Give someone a compliment, help someone, carry something, etc, and then report back to record it on a board and get a prize.

Join Spacestation Animation Studios as they walk you through fun content, games, activities, and adventures! Create and learn from animators all about their shows (A is for Addley) and educational platforms.

Kids and parents can put on a Virtual Reality headset to watch a film in 360 degrees. The activity booth will be accompanied by 360 cameras, Spatial Microphones, and other VR film gear so people can ask questions and learn more!
