GOOD NIGHT OPPY – Film Screening and Q&A Workshop

About the Film Good Night Oppy The film follows the Mars Exploration rovers Spirit and Opportunity, affectionately dubbed “Oppy” by her creators and scientists at NASA. Spirit Oppy were originally expected to live for only 90 days but she ultimately explored Mars for nearly 15 years, helping NASA learn more about the red planet than ever imagined. Watch the trailer: Vimeo | YouTube Core Standards Met: USBE K-6 science About the Workshop This Field Trip includes a 30 minute Q&A workshop with local Utah scientists and engineers that assisted NASA missions and study our Great Salt Lake and Southern Utah climate to learn more about Mars.

Each member of your group needs a pass to access Tumbleweeds. Workshops require additional registration and fee.
