Create your own galaxy in the universe and pose as an astronaut exploring your galaxy!

DIY Stickers

Who doesn’t love stickers?!? Let Craft Lake City show you how to make your own stickers with common household items. This hands-on, fun for many ages activity, will give you inspiration to create!

What’s Your Superpower?

Bad Dog Arts will help kids do a fun art project that helps them think about their unique gifts (superpowers) and create a memorable work of art.

2-Frame Animation

Can you write, film, and edit a comedy film all in just minutes?! With our help you can! Join the Utah Education Network in the Clubhouse to film your own 5-second comedy!

Button Making

Button Making – Button Making–Come make your own custom button with Clever Octopus! They will offer art kit giveaways along with information about Clever Octopus, volunteer opportunities and Americorps.

Caricatures

Live Caricature Artists will sketch you a caricature while you wait in the Clubhouse of our Tumbleweeds Film Festival!

Family Photo Booth

Photographer Miriam Teriipaia will host a photo booth where families and friends can pick funny costumes to dress up and take a photo.

Light, Film & Space Science

Clark Planetarium has a hands-on experience to learn of the properties of light and how it has been used for centuries to capture photographs, voies, and discover our universe and beyond!

Health Games

Health Games–Join U of U Health as they lead you on fun brain games to keep your mind sharp and your body healthy!

Space to Create

Utah Museum of Contemporary Arts has a coloring booth with “Space to Create” thank you cards to give to the special person in your life that gives you the space to be creative and artistic.

Whether you love to watch films, want to explore the hands on activities at the Clubhouse, or do both, a day pass is your access to the Festival!

Each day pass includes the following perks: In-person films on a first come, first served basis

  • Clubhouse activities.
  • Free UTA transit to the Festival at Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville
 

Each member of your group needs a pass to access Tumbleweeds. Workshops require additional registration and fee. 

Choose a Saturday day pass, a Sunday day pass, or both!
