Celebrating Content Creators, Future Filmmakers, and the Storytellers who Inspire Us!

Tumbleweeds Film Festival For Kids is a festival for youth and those young at heart who love stories, brave and funny protagonists, and opportunities to explore and create something new.

If your kids are now older than our Tumbleweeds audience, but you still value opportunities for adventure, learning, creating together, and the sense of community and belonging that the festival encourages, there are opportunities for you to remain involved!

Legacy Family Sponsorship. Please consider a tax-deductible donation of $200 or more as a Legacy Family. Your gift will help underwrite access to Tumbleweeds films and workshops in Utah communities. Other benefits include your family’s name on festival materials, including on-site signage at the festival, the festival and Film Center website, and the festival film bumper. You can make a donation here

Volunteering. We can always use volunteers, and we’d love to have your family work with us. Please see volunteer opportunities and benefits here. Actual volunteer shifts will become available late February and early March.

Cultural Ambassadors. We love your support in sharing the festival with families you know who would enjoy the films, workshops, guest presentations, and hands-on activities. Our best reference is you! If you prefer, we can provide you with materials to share in your community center, local coffee shop, and social media.

Tumbleweeds is a community festival made possible by the many hands and hearts that believe in it, work on it, sponsor it, and share it with others. Thank you for considering your ongoing support of the festival! Feel free to contact Sophie Caligiuri with any questions.

The festival is a program of the nonprofit Utah Film Center, whose mission is to connect people, stories, and ideas through film exhibition, media arts education, and artist support.
